Spurred by positive take-up rates, Mah Sing Group Bhd (MSG) has extended the promotion
period for its Sales Bonanza to the first two weeks of this month offering low downpayments
and rebates, among other incentives, for units in its Aman Perdana township in Klang,
Selangor.
Applicable to a limited number of semi-detached houses and bungalows, deputy general manager for sales and marketing James Bruyns said the campaign was extended due
to "overwhelming response" from the public.
"The Sales Bonanza was originally slated to run between Nov 1 and Nov 30, but we're
extending it given the sales momentum and also in consideration of buyers who need
more time to process their loans and other documentation," Bruyns said.
Aman Perdana is an ongoing scheme on 315 acres of freehold land along the Shah Alam-Meru
growth corridor. Undertaken by MSG subsidiary Intramewah Development Sdn Bhd, the
linear park themed project generated buzz when it hit the market four years ago
with offers of bungalows at semi-dee prices and semi-dees at terrace prices.
Currently, semi-dees and bungalows can still be snapped up for less than RM400,000
and RM700,000 respectively but under the Sales Bonanza, the prospect is even more
enticing.
"We are offering a rebate of up to 10 per cent of the house price, a RM1,000 low
downpayment scheme and no progressive interest charges," Bruyns said, adding that
the developer will also absorb the legal, transfer and loan agreement fees.
The limited units under the Sales Bonanza campaign include 2,420sq ft doublestorey
semi-dees priced from RM459,800 as well as two types of double-storey bungalows
offering 3,388sq ft and 2,750sq ft, priced from RM791,800 and RM698,800 respectively.
"On top of that, we have added a newly completed series of double-storey link semi-dees
to the campaign, priced from just RM382,800," he said.
So far, he said the 60-plus units taken up under Sales Bonanza have generated sales
of RM30 million for the company.
"The campaign ends next week, and there are only a handful of units left ... so
our message to buyers out there is 'Hurry'".
Targeted at upgraders from Klang and beyond, Aman Perdana has proven popular among
families seeking larger abodes and a greener lifestyle at an affordable price.
Apart from a recreational lake area that takes centre stage within the project,
it also offers landscaped gardens, children's playgrounds, a jogging track as well
as badminton and basketball courts.
Being in the Shah Alam-Meru corridor also means that Aman Perdana will benefit from
other developments that have recently mushroomed in the area such as the Tesco Setia
Alam hypermarket, the Pin Hwa School and the upand- coming Klang Sentral bus terminal.
The site is also accessible from various parts of the Klang Valley via the Federal
Highway Route II, the Shapadu Highway and the North Klang Valley Expressway via
the newly completed Jalan Meru link.
Buyers will also have a fresh opportunity to shop for homes in the coming year as
a new phase of link semidees and semi-dees is due for launch by the first quarter.
Aman Perdana will be fully completed in 2012, when it will play host to 3,260 residential and commercial units as well as a population of over 7,000.
