SEREMBAN: The Negri Sembilan Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association Malaysia
(REHDA) will organise a three-day property expo (MAPEX NS) on May 2 - 4 at the Seremban
Parade Shopping Centre.
The expo will be launched by State executive councillor for housing, local government,
new villages and public transportation, Siow Chen Pin on behalf of Menteri Besar,
Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
REHDA chairman, Datuk Soam Heng Choon said MAPEX NS has the support and participation
of 15 developers displaying the latest development projects, two financial institutions
and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF).
"A total of 2,504 units of property with an estimated value of RM380 million will
be showcased during the expo. A wide range of properties are on offer such as single,
double and two and a half storey terraces, single and double storey semi-D houses,
bungalow lots as well as bungalows, apartments, low cost apartments, commercial
and industry units,"
he said.
Besides incentives such as rebates and discounts, REHDA will also give away 20 branded
electrical items such as home appliances, audio video products and digital products
to 20 lucky home buyers who have signed the sales and purchase agreement for their
properties.
He said buyers will also be entitled to a 50 per cent discount on the stamp duty
for residential properties below RM250,000.
"This discount is valid from Sept 8, 2007 to Dec 31, 2010. REHDA would like to urge
potential buyers to make the right choice now as the prices of properties are increasing
due to the rise in prices of raw material.
"We are looking forward to potential buyers visiting the expo to purchase their
dream homes and enjoy the additional incentives and benefits which the participating
developers are offering during the period," added Soam.
