with English and Bahasa Melayu Options

PETALING JAYA: The online property listing space in Malaysia has always been dominated by English, the universal language of international business and global communication. At, we discovered that there was a need for a property listing portal that catered to local users and communities, thus the idea of a Bahasa Melayu language option for the website was born.

This year, is proud to launch the Bahasa Melayu update for its Android app as well as the Bahasa Melayu language option for its Malaysia property search and listing portal,

With Bahasa Malaysia (also known as Bahasa Melayu) being the national language of Malaysia, it was evident that there was a need for a Malaysian-based property listing portal that offered its users the option to browse in their preferred language medium, be it English or Bahasa Melayu.

Beginning March 6, 2016, visitors to will be able to browse the site in English or Bahasa Melayu by choosing their preferred language via the drop-down menu at the top right corner of the web page The dual-language option not only provides local visitors a user-friendly property search and posting experience in a language that they are familiar with, it also allows the team to better understand the needs of its users and improve its property search and listing features for members.

In addition, the two language options enable to reach out and appeal to a wider audience within Malaysia, especially the Malay-speaking community. This will allow to expand its services to real estate negotiators and agencies that utilise Bahasa Melayu in their real estate business and property listings, thus bridging the gap between agents and their potential clients via a shared platform.

Bahasa Melayu for Android App

In February 2016, an update was released for the Estate123 Android App, which added the function of browsing the mobile app in Bahasa Melayu. Smartphone users who have their device language set to Bahasa Melayu would be able to automatically view and use the app in Bahasa Melayu, making it more user-friendly and convenient for those who prefer browsing in their default language option. Likewise, all features and functions remain the same as in the English version, including:

  • Manage listings

  • Manage leads

  • Save property search

  • Save agent contact

  • Leads notification

  • New listing notification

  • Property news updates and articles

Following the successful launch of the Bahasa Melayu version of both the website and Android mobile app, the company is planning to launch a Chinese language update for its website and mobile apps within the year.
