So, you’ve uploaded a great profile photo and updated your profile with your latest contact details so that you’ll receive notifications when potential clients contact you about your property listings. The next (and probably most important) step to getting leads and obtaining sales is to have your property listings posted, of course! Otherwise, how would they see your listing and contact you, right?
At Estate123, we believe that listing your properties is 50% art, 50% science, and 100% dedication and effort. Why? Because a great property listing is more likely to attract views and convince potential clients to contact the property agent. They will want to know more about the property, and perhaps even request a viewing!
Besides having good photos of the property, which showcase its exterior, interior and special features, setting the correct location of the property in your property listing is an important factor to consider. These days, property investors and buyers are becoming increasingly tech-savvy, often going online to do their research on a certain location in order to have an idea of whether it meets their requirements. Google Maps also plays an important role in the search for property, as it allows prospective buyers and renters to pinpoint the exact location, and even see actual images of the area through Google Street View.
More and more new areas in Malaysia are being developed and launched at an alarming rate, making it difficult to obtain timely and accurate data of new area names and postcodes. Therefore, after receiving feedback from our Estate123.com members regarding the Set Location function within the property listing process, our technical team has come up with a more efficient way for them to list their properties and display the correct information to visitors.
How To Set Location
Login to your Estate123.com account, then click on Welcome button at the top left corner of the page. A drop-down menu will appear, then click on Create Listing and select the relevant property type.
Our updated Set Location function now allows users to manually key in the Area and Postcode fields when entering a property’s location, as well as choose from the conventional drop-down menu, which appears when you start typing in the Area name and Postcode numbers. If the Area you are entering does not show up in the drop-down menu options, you can simply input the correct name (e.g. Taman Estate123) and postcode (e.g. 12300) and continue as usual with the other required fields.
We hope this small but significant update to our Estate123.com create property listing function will help agents and owners alike to smoothly and easily list their properties online, so that visitors will be able to browse and discover their ideal residential or commercial property from your listings. Do note that property listings by free account members will have to be approved by our site admin before the listing will show up on Estate123.com for public viewing.
